Tom Lenfestey
Attorney & CPA
My practice concentrates in a mix of business and tax planning and estate planning and administration. In doing so, I represent and advise businesses and individuals with various transactional and administrative needs. My goal in these areas is to bring the true value of planning to the client. This holds true whether the client is an individual in need of a basic will, an entrepreneur looking to create a LLC or corporation or an established business in need of more continuous transactional work and long term planning to continue the success they have enjoyed to date.
In the business law practice, I represent entrepreneurs and businesses on a wide variety of transactions and strategic planning matters including:
-Business formation
-Structuring and negotiating business sales and purchases
-Contract needs and numerous other tax and legal matters
-Counseling, advising and developing strategies for business succession planning.
I also assist individual clients with the development and implementation of comprehensive estate plans that achieve the personal, financial and charitable goals of those individuals and families. My estate planning practice includes:
-Preparing wills, trusts
-Advanced directives such as living wills and health care powers of attorney
-Creating and implementing other tax-saving and asset protection strategies such as
family limited partnerships, life insurance trusts, and charitable trusts.
I further counsel clients responsible for a deceased individual's estates and trust through the probate and administration process. By using tax minimization strategies, effective communication of the clerk and legal process and competent and timely handling of issues that arise he is able to provide valuable assistance to the Executor or Trustee of the sometimes complex probate, estate and trust administration procedures.
