Lauren Campbell Maxie and Jennifer Sweazy took some time out of their Saturday this past weekend to assist the NCBA’s Young Lawyers Division with the “Wills For Heroes” event. This program provides free estate planning documents to local police, fire, and EMS personnel. These individuals were encouraged to receive peace of mind by putting the right legal planning tools in place, such as a will and powers of attorney. Volunteers consisted of attorneys, paralegals, notaries and witnesses.
