Business & Corporate Planning

Easing concerns and taking advantage of opportunities

At NC Planning, we believe in building lasting relationships with our clients that go beyond the traditional attorney-client model. We recognize that ongoing, high quality legal services are a key component to successful businesses, companies and professional entities. Accordingly, we have developed our Complete Corporate Counsel platform that scales with our clients’ legal needs and goals and provides proactive, uninterrupted corporate counsel services.

Once engaged on our “Start-Up” or “Operations” platform, the NC Planning team is available to our clients to handle all stages of a company’s life cycle from the very initial formation through the final exit strategy, winding down and/or sale of a business and everything in between. Continuous open communication with our clients coupled with an ongoing proactive planning approach allows us to address concerns and resolve issues, in many instances, before they arise. This helps to provide our clients with peace of mind and confidence to focus on ensuring the growth and success of their business, all the while knowing that their corporate counsel is only a phone call or an e-mail away.

Proactive Practice Planning

We recognize that running a private practice requires special attention. Our team’s focus on advising and assisting professionals was derived from seeing the challenges that medical, dental and other professionals face. From these experiences, we have gained unique knowledge in these professional industries and practice planning that has become the foundation to NC Planning’s healthcare client model.

Why is Business Planning Important?

The worst way to start anything is without a plan. Can you make it in business without the proper corporate structure, contracts and legal advice? Sure you can, but the odds are against you. Business planning is the process of setting up the right legal protections for your business to prevent one misstep from turning a great idea, hard work and service into another statistic of business closures.

Business & Corporate Planning

Some of the typical business planning services we work with our clients on are:

  • All aspects of starting a new business and setting up a LLC, corporation or professional entity
  • Leases, agreements or other contract review and preparation
  • Employee agreements and incentive plans
  • Ownership strategies including buy-sell agreements and succession planning
  • Business audits to review and issue spot any potential concerns
  • Ongoing general counsel services as part of our Client Advisory Services (“CAS”) to become a part of your company’s planning team
