From the time she was in high school, Christiana had always been fascinated by the legal field, though she never intended to become an attorney. Shortly after obtaining a bachelor’s degree in English from Meredith College in 2018, she encountered an advertisement seeking a paralegal to assist the attorneys at a Raleigh firm. After looking into what the role would entail, Christiana was inspired to seek further education. She attended the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill’s Paralegal Certificate Program in the fall of 2018 and obtained her North Carolina State Bar Paralegal Certification in 2019.

Christiana chose to work for NC Planning as she shared the values of client
communication and integrity. The first question she had for the partners during the interview process was “What examples can you provide of your client-first approach”? The love that each team member shows for one another and the genuine appreciation and care shown to clients through actions, not just in words, were the key factors in Christiana joining NC Planning in February of 2022.

Christiana has developed an eye for detail that proves crucial in her role as the Legal Production Manager. Whether drafting detailed estate plans or offering to act as a copyeditor for her co-workers throughout NC Planning, she knows that the little things matter and strives to ensure the quality of every document that she reviews.

When she is not in the office, Christiana can typically be found either working on her current sewing project or curled up with her two feline children (Pippin and Noctis) and a good book.
