Kyle is the kind of attorney who can explain a complex estate plan without sounding like he’s reading from a statute book—and that’s exactly what his clients appreciate. As a Partner at NC Planning and a leader of the Estate Planning practice group, Kyle brings equal parts strategy and empathy to the table. He’s guided families through everything from sensitive estate planning conversations to the multi-step sale of a family business, and he does it all with a steady hand and a clear focus on what’s best for the client.
His background is rooted in helping others—whether that meant working on his grandparents’ farm growing up or mentoring students through tough transitions while in college. That mindset carries through to his work today: clear, responsive, and focused on making each process as simple and stress-free as possible. Kyle has a reputation for following through, staying one step ahead, and knowing when to push for the best result—and when to simply listen.
He’s been named a Rising Star by Thomson Reuters six years in a row, and currently serves on the Campbell University Alumni Board of Directors. He also mentors law students through Campbell Law School’s Connections program, helping the next generation of lawyers find their footing.
Outside of the office, Kyle and his wife, Lauren, make the most of their weekends—often on the coast cruising in his grandfather’s old Boston Whaler that he recently restored, checking out local breweries with friends, or catching an NC State game. At home, Kyle is happiest outside or relaxing with their yellow lab, Charlie, who thinks he runs the place.
Fueled by purpose, people, coffee, and the occasional craft beer, Kyle brings clarity and care to every step of the estate planning process.
